Industrial Sand Casting
Franklin Bronze Plaques was born from one of Pennsylvania’s oldest continually operating foundries. Franklin Bronze & Aluminum Company was established in 1878 and in time evolved into a 20,000 square foot casting facility, purchased by Franklin Bronze & Alloy in 1978.
In 2006, Franklin Bronze Plaques was formed as an offshoot of Franklin Bronze & Alloy to offer a more commercial product line, becoming a totally independent entity in 2008. We purchased the sand casting division of Franklin Bronze & Alloy in 2013, bringing our entire process under one roof and expanding our capabilities to include industrial sand castings. We offer our expertise as a vendor in many customers’ supply chains.
Our industrial casting department provides high-quality castings in a wide variety of non-ferrous, stainless steel and aluminum alloys, serving customers in several different manufacturing industries. Franklin Bronze Plaques employs a no-bake sand casting process, along with green sand molding, running a total of four production lines.
We pour various alloys of brass, bronze, aluminum, and stainless steel. Our castings can range from one inch to three square feet in overall size and weigh up to 150 pounds. No order is too small or too big, ranging from a single piece to 50,000 pieces.
