Background Finishes
The background of most cast plaques is painted to provide a distinct contrast to the highlighted areas. Both cast bronze and aluminum plaques may be painted with standard or custom colors. Custom-matched painted colors can also be provided at an additional cost. Additionally, natural chemical patinas and simulated painted patinas are available, also incurring additional charges.
Due to the hand rubbed nature and chemical process of the patina finish, each piece will vary in shading and finish even if they are finished at the same time. Chemical patina finishes cannot be controlled over large surface areas.
